We planned the Conference to take place on a Friday so as to eliminate the need for attendees getting back to work the following morning and to give all an opportunity to enjoy our Mojave Desert environment while here.
The month of October is one of the best during which to take in our famous Joshua trees and our brilliant starry nights. A trip through Joshua Tree National Park on the day after the Conference will complete your visit by combining a mini vacation with the invaluable learning experience offered by the SoPAE Conference. A visit to the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley is always helpful in planning the many other adventures available in our part of Southern California.
A chance encounter with one of our glorious sunrises or sunsets will really top off your high desert experience.
