HOW TO GET HERE
Bounded on the North by the U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center and on the South by Joshua Tree National Park, the Morongo Basin has become one of the fastest growing areas in Southern California.
Whether you plan your trip by car or by plane, the Joshua Tree Retreat and Conference Center is easy to find - thirty miles north of Palm Springs and just a few miles east of Yucca Valley's municipal airport.
The Basin is served by two major highways. Beginning at I–10 twenty miles to the South, SR–62 continues North and runs the length of the Basin from West to East. SR–247 originates in the city of Barstow about seventy five miles to the North and ends in the town of Yucca Valley.
Proceed to the Conference Center by traveling East from Yucca Valley on SR–62. About 1/2 mile past its intersection with Yucca Mesa Road, make a left turn off the highway at a sign that reads SoPAE CONFERENCE.
